• You become overwhelmed overseeing multiple clients/projects.
• You like to be told what to do rather than figuring out solutions on your own.
• You don’t love dogs (the only cats allowed are on funny YouTube videos).
What You Need to Get in the Door
• 2-4 years of design experience (agency preferred). Portfolio demonstrating professional experience required.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (i.e. graphic design, visual communication, fine arts or other related disciplines).
• A passion for design in branding, web, print, and digital.
• Proven ability to be creative and execute design for a wide range of projects and clients in multiple industries.
• Experience collaborating with internal and external resources to develop creative strategies that meet client goals within budgets and established timelines.
• Excellent communication skills (phone, e-mail, client meetings and presentations).
• Demonstrated skills in composition, hierarchy, color, typography and photo manipulation.
• Resourcefulness, reliability, and attention to detail are essential.
• A self-starter who can lead the conversation (we listed twice, it could be important).
• Proficiency in the most up to date versions of Adobe (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, XD, bonus for Premiere).
BONUS ROUND
• Extra points for anyone that has knowledge in video editing, photography, and coding.
Your Day-In and Day-Out
• Work directly with the design / marketing team to develop and execute creative projects for the client’s goals and strategies.
• Create compelling designs for our clients and manage adherence to project briefs, budgets, and deadlines.
• Stay on top of current industry and program standards and design trends.
• Identify and present new opportunities appropriate for our clients and their brand.
• Manage relationships with our vendors.
• When necessary, serve as Account Executive for a given client, including managing client expectations and production schedules, and conducting internal and external communication.
• Participate in new business pitches and the identification of organic growth opportunities.
